The bite was much much much hotter to the south, but there were still some fish caught in the “MC”.
Local sharpie Brian Higgins had 8 on Tuesday night on a black bomber less than a mile from home. Dean Vervoort caught a bunch. Rob Hoffman and Charles Mencel got the Blues, and Mussels Marinara caught a 20 Pounder in the surf on Bunker Chunks way down south.
Sand Eel imitations are the ticket, so bring your Bombers, Ava Jigs, and long lean teasers. I also heard surf eels are killing em down in the park.
