Squid Force

It’s been said that if they grew to the same size as sharks, bluefish would be the only fish in the sea. They attack bait, lures and fingers with wild abandon and when they’re feeding, it’s as though they can’t stop.

I know people who are bluefish snobs. They complain about these monsters and pout when they come around. Some actually stop fishing when the bluefish bite is hot. Maybe they’re afraid of getting bitten. Maybe they’re afraid of a good fight. Not me.

Though not the best table fare, pound for pound, I put the bluefish up there with the best fighting fish in the sea.
