Empty waves are a funny lot. For one, we don’t see enough of them. Unless you’re a lucky, lucky person, your spots are most likely chock full of takers, even if you’re there at the crack of dawn or in the middle of a moonlit night. Watching empty waves lets us imagine what we’d do if we had the chance to slide into one of these mythic beasts without all of the ubiquitous shoulder dressing that usually goes along with it.

So, flowery pontification aside, would you give this a go, or is mindsurfing it enough for you? What’s it going to be, Johnny?
