Our friend Ryan who is regularly featured here in the form of his pod cast INSEAtv will be a guest on The Today show and the Early Show Tomorrow March 13, 2009.
According to the NY Post article, Ryan and crew were underwater hunting off the coast of Louisianna last June when a 12′ tiger shark singled Ryan out. (Maybe the shark could tell the difference between his camera and the spear guns everyone else was holding).
Ryann’s buddy and dive partner Craig Clasen had his back, and tried to deter the shark, the shark was persistent, and Craig was left with no option but to shoot the shark. Two hours, seven spears and a long knife blade later, the shark was dead. Clasen later said that he was deeply saddened by killing the shark but felt morally obligated to kill it after the first shot hit the fish in the gills.

Not many people know that all internal disputes here at Squidforce Headquarters are settled on the archery range. That’s why were so stoked to see this episode kick off with Ryan wrecking a Bud Light can with an arrow. Nice shot. The rest of the epi is packed with aerial surfing, freediving, fish, dune flips and an interview with Squidforce’s spiritual apnea guide, and freediving champion, Mandy-Rae Cruikshank.
Once again, Ryan and crew have stepped it up a notch. Please enjoy InSea TV episode 7.

Once again Ryan has outdone himself. Look for lots of freediving action when Ryan and crew go grouper hunting in the NC.
Special interview with the intriguing Nicki Roderick, New Zeland record holder in unassisted freediving. Her record is 53 meters or 170+ feet deep. No SCUBA, no fins, no complaints!
Look for a cameo from photog legend DJ Struntz. As always the out-takes are classic.
